Cousin Dan's Knucklehead

i posted a picture of the incredible green knucklehead toghether with max's blue knucklehead a while ago cause i thought those bikes might have loved each other if they've ever met...
then i find a picture of "another" knucklehead on the Cycle Zombies blog which turns out to be exactly the same bike before it was chopped in the late 50s!!

my pen-pal davey (http://radballs.blogspot.com/) told me the story and let me post those awesome pictures of one of the sickest bikes ever. it was owned by cousin dan back in the 50s / 60s and he chopped and modified the bike as seen below. i dunno what kinda carb he was running on it and it's really hard to tell from the picture so if anyone has an idea please let me know.

this was exactly one year ago- cruisin down PCH towards santa barbara. all i had in my mind was my old lady and my chopper i would pick up in a couple of days... good memories
